Noria Energy develops solar systems for your business or community, creating resilient renewable energy systems that save money and generate long-term value.
Noria Energy has a proven track record of deploying renewable energy technologies in underserved markets. We are currently developing 100+ MW of Solar in the United States and Latin America and our team has successfully constructed, owned, and operated over 1 GW of solar projects.
Since 2018, Noria has focused on optimizing the design, installation, and operation & maintenance of Floating Solar projects. We are currently partnering with DNV GL and industry experts in a Joint Industry Project to determine global standards and best practices for the sector.
Noria takes care of every aspect of your renewable energy project: Design, permitting, finance, construction, owning, operating and removing the project at the end of the contract. Our core services include:
Using your water body or land, Noria will build and operate a renewable system generating electricity that will directly offset your energy use.
Noria offers a lease on your water body or land, creating an opportunity for long-term revenue that allows us to advance renewable energy goals of your community.
Our renewable systems offer financial savings on your electricity bills and provide low fixed energy costs for the long-term, allowing your business to plan for the future.
Noria is experienced in Microgrid and other closed energy systems, offering solutions to protect your business from disruptions in energy service so you can continue being productive even in challenging times.
Many States offer net metering, feed-in-tariffs, and other incentives, allowing Noria to pass along additional savings to customers. In addition, our systems will help you reach State energy requirements, generating Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) or help meet other sustainability goals of your business or municipality.
Floating projects utilize unused water surfaces, conserving valuable land for other purposes. A typical project can power 1,000-3,000 homes.
A typical project can generate over a million dollars in lease revenue, hundreds of thousands of dollars in property tax revenue, and dozens of construction jobs over its lifetime.
Floating solar materials are compliant with fresh and natural water standards. The coverings provide shading that decreases water temperature, reduces evaporation to save water, and slows harmful algae growth. The pontoons are created from recyclable materials and easily removed at the end of the project.
Our systems combine traditional solar equipment with pontoons - no new technology is utilized. Over 2000 acres of floating solar projects have been installed worldwide in recent years, and these systems make economic sense for utilities and pond owners in 2020.
